A discussion has erupted on Facebook about the possibility of beginning a golf a mentoring/teaching program. We would first like to know who may be willing to volunteer to be a mentor. A rough concept may be along the lines of the following: Disc Golf Mentoring • Mentors who are interested in making themselves available would post on a designated Facebook location • Mentor would post when they are available o Casual rounds, give date and course; 3 students max o League night, ½ hour before, one student • First response, first taught • If student is interested, post name, availability, and what course they want to play so if a mentor is available they can respond • When possible, post at courses that this activity is available on the DDGA site Any volunteers??? If interested in being a DG Mentor, send me a PM..

Last week we had a fantastic guest, Steve Wisecup, doing a couple of clinics before league nights. Is there: #1 an interest from the non-open golfers to have some of our local open players doing clinics like this? #2 an interest from some of our local open players to do clinics #3 an interest from the DDGA to promote clinics for the betterment of local golfers
