Sounds great. By the way, I'd like to join DDGA Saturday morning if possible. Will someone attending be able to help me with that?

There are several Dayton golfers making the trip down to BG this year. There is one of the top 5 unique courses I've played in the US just north of BG in Brownsville called 'Holler in the Hills' it is a private course ($5) but well worth the $ and drive. If any of you get down early or would like to play Friday, give me a call 369-6270, I'll be down all week (working on a few courses before the rounds start on Friday, but can play anytime I wish Been told ALL payouts will be available online at discgolfU this year so no waiting to leave after your done throwing Sunday Hope you enjoy the courses and BG, It's one of my two disc golf homes

Sounds great. By the way, I'd like to join DDGA Saturday morning if possible. Will someone attending be able to help me with that? Usually you have to do it at a Tournament or a League night. The past 2 years I did it online but I think they did away with that. I paid this year at the Ice Bowl.

Since I am going to win the number #1 tag, I get to pick the place and time (yeah right, Heck I got beat by Luis last week). Let's shoot for Clayton (aka Westbrook) at 0830-0845. If we get enough people, doubles might be in order. It's always fun with and for newbies too. Bring your $1 just in case it gets interesting. See you all in the AM.

If you want to challenge for the #1 tag there SteveO, bring your $5 'cause $1 won't get it. Oh, bring your game while you're at it too. Attachments:

I just want to say that I had an amazing time this morning. It was great to join DDGA, play my first doubles, and meet everyone. Also, playing the best I've ever played at Westbrook didn't hurt.
Glad there was such a great turnout and such great weather. Can't wait to play with everyone again.

The weather finally broke, and the turnout was great. The BC bag tags are fantastic (very classy Luis). A special shout out to my team mate Mr. Miller who in my book is truly the "goodtwin". And once again when the talk of playing for those nice new tags came up, Gil slips away claiming he needs sleep.
Until next time.

Truely unbelievable day...weather was great...course had only a couple of real soggy areas... 16 people showed up for Breakfast Club today, then to top that off, 8 of us stuck around to play for the new fantastic bag tags (great job Louis)....Sean did you keep the #1 tag??? I don't remeber ;D ;D ;D

Glad everyone is liking the BC bag tags... its a good incentive to keep you coming back out. Sean and I will be out at Belmont at 9:00 am tomorrow morning, if anyone is interested. Hope to see some more breakfast clubbers there.

Just a note to all current and future Breakfast Clubbers; while I personally have no problem with various individuals putting money up for side wagers, etc, the original spirit of the Club was to simply get together for the love of the sport. It was also intended to be an opportunity to practice new shots and techniques in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. I think that lately there has been a move to put together a tournament-style format where a cash entry fee and payout exists, and I feel that it may inhibit newbies from coming out and participating. I believe Luis has the right idea with the bag tags that give people the opportunity to win something, without having to buy in. I may be wrong about this, and I look forward to comments from fellow Breakfast Clubbers on this issue.

I would have no problem taking the cash out of BC....we have other opportunities now the leagues will be starting soon...plus, I won't feel as bad for whoever the unfortunate individual is that draws me as a partner.....Lord knows, I can use this opportunity for practice and to solicit advise... ;D

Sounds good Scott! So does that mean You and JC are forfeiting your big win last week? ;D I will get my dollar back from John!
Having said that, I will not refuse any of SteveO's CTP challenges for a dollar before or after! ;D

I would add that it is up to an individual to place a "side bet" with another player. I do not think that a cash entry or "tourney" style should be adopted. Although when you have 16 people show up, putting it to a doubles format was the right choice.
NEVER, NEVER play SteveO's $1 if I make it bet. He has an uncanny ability to win those most of the time.

Ken, I just want to say that I had a great time coming out and playing with you and the rest of the Breakfast Club on Saturday. I will make a "conscience effort" to make it out to hang with you guys. Maybe next time you won't get stuck with a "disc-talker".
As far as accepting any type of accuracy challenge from Steve-O, no thanks. He was killing it Saturday.

well said goodtwin, i want to play and learn. i prefer singles so i can hone my game, shoot from my lousy spots so i can get better. if numbers are large i can see doubles, when smaller singles. steve o doesn't want to carry me i was getting heavy towards the end. bag tags are great i hope we can entice the lower numbers to continue to come out and play. enjoyed two rounds rarely do we have such an opportunity in march
doug 'look at that' lowe i purchased a vulcan - took it out for practice tosses as well - a good addition to my bag - when i throw it sounds like it is saying live long and prosper
